We’ve been notified by the Pahrump Utility Company, Inc. of a precautionary boil water advisory starting April 15 at 10:00 PM and running through April 20 at 5:00 PM.
The utility company will be replacing a main valve during this window, which affects water service at Hafen Elementary and Floyd Elementary. While we know this is an extra hurdle in the middle of a week, our team is already on top of it!
What we are doing:
To ensure our students and staff have zero interruptions to their learning, we are providing bottled water at both school sites for the entire duration of the advisory.
Bottled water will be used for:
Drinking and food preparation.
Health-related needs, including wound care or assistance with nosebleeds.
The NCSD Maintenance & Operations team remains in contact with the utility company to ensure our schools remain safe, healthy environments. Thank you for your continued support and "go-with-the-flow" attitude as we navigate this utility update!
